Antique Boulle style lap/slant front travel desk - Plano - antique travel desk

Antique Boulle style lap or slant front desk, with burl walnut interior.  Boulle work on top.(Boulle is tortise shell and brass).  Original velvet writing surface with hidden burl walnut compartment under the writing surface.  Late 19th century.  The piece is in very good condition with slight loss to compartments on inside of desk and minor wear to a few spots of tortise shell. Measures 7 1/2" hight, 11 1/2" wide and 14 1/2" long.  This makes for a great office accessory.
